WisDOT works to open areas impacted by flooding in Northern Wisconsin
Crews reopened WIS 122 between US 2 and the Michigan State line a week ahead of schedule. The highway is open to a temporary gravel surface. Motorists can expect some lane closures going forward when paving operations begin.

o There is still no access to Michigan or Saxon Harbor from WIS 122.

o Installation of a temporary culvert at the South Tributary to Vaughn Creek, located one-half-mile north of Gurney (between Cameron Road and Jensen Road) was completed on July 20. The highway is open at this location to local traffic only. Project completion is scheduled for August 31.
o Work to replace the Vaughn Creek culvert is scheduled to start August 22, with project completion by September 30.
