The Langlade County Humane Society received an upgrade to its signage this week, erected prior to a new shelter building set to open this fall. The sharp-looking new sign, located on the busy corner of Clermont St. and Century Ave. by the Society’s main building, was made possible by the generous support of local donors.
Originally designed by Julie Schenk, graphic designer at the Antigo Times, help making and erecting the new sign was additionally provided by Kelly J Commercial Signs and Paul Barta. The delightful animal logo in the lower, left-hand corner was created by K2 Graphics from Crandon.
Local donators were at the shelter on Tuesday for pictures with the staff and sign, including representatives from the Spring Brook Veterinary Clinic, Dairy Queen, and Schulz Heating & Cooling.
