Gary Donald Lutzow, 64

Gary Donald Lutzow, of Polar, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 64 years old.

He was born November 26, 1952 in Antigo, son of the late Arnold and Jean (Brunner) Lutzow. He married Ronda Kolpack on July 24, 1971 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Polar.

Gary was a 1971 graduate of Antigo High School. He was employed as a general foreman for Hooper Construction. He traveled all over the country installing high voltage lines. He was an IBEW member.

He enjoyed motorcycle trips, traveling, snowmobiling, raising cattle, camping, and spending time on facebook with friends all over the world. He especially loved his children and grandchildren.

Gary was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Polar, where he served as an elder and participated in Men’s Club.

In addition to his wife, Ronda Lutzow, survivors include a daughter, Rebecca (Lonnie) Mork of Post Lake; a son, Daniel (Bobbie) Lutzow of Wausau; 6 grandchildren, Jared Mork of Stevens Point, Kyle Mork, Chris Mork, Samantha Lutzow, Tyler Lutzow, and Ryan Lutzow; and 2 brothers, Dick (Judy) Lutzow of Prairie du Chien, and Allen Lutzow of Mattoon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lloyd Lutzow and Dennis Lutzow.

A funeral service will take place Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Polar, with Rev. Donald Engebretson officiating. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home and 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment will follow the funeral at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery.
