Hodag Water Shows Thru August 20th (Sun. & Wed.) 7pm Hodag Park, Boom Lake, 1103 Thayer St., Rhinelander. HWS performs a show that features acts such as ballet, jump, swivel skiing, trick skiing, barefooting, doubles, trios, wakeboarding, and pyramid. Members range in age from 6 to almost 50 and some of the members have been with the team for more than 30 years. Langlade County Community Day Camp July 10th 9am-4pm Camp Susan, Cty. Rd. B, Deerbrook. Summer camp is an excellent opportunity for youth to make new friends, get reacquainted with old friends, continue learning over the summer and have fun. Elk’s Club Soccer Shoot-Out July 11th 5:30-8pm Saratoga Soccer Field, 1235 Nantasket St., Antigo. Elk’s Club Soccer Shoot-out is a fun FREE event courtesy of the local Elk’s Club. You do not need to be registered for the Co-ed Youth Soccer Program to participate. All children within the specified age groups are welcome to participate. Trophies are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age division. Children compete in four age brackets. They will have a chance to test their soccer skills by shooting at goals at different distances & skill levels. There is one contest for ages 7 and under, 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13, boys & girls.
