Warrant of the Week

The Antigo Police Department holds a warrant for Maranda Y. Heim d.o.b. 02-10-95 Heim is wanted for failing to pay a fine on charges of operating while intoxicated and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. Those with information on her whereabouts are urged to call the Antigo Police Department at (715) 627-6411 or Langlade County Crimestoppers at 715-627-NAIL (6245). Callers may remain anonymous. You can also view a list of all warrants at our website, www.antigo-city.org.

 

Dog at Large:

A quick reminder about dogs on your property in the City of Antigo. Per City ordinance, a dog is not considered at large if it is on a leash not to exceed ten feet in length and under control of a person physically able to control it when the animal is off the owner’s premises. However, no person shall tie, stake or fasten any dog within any street, alley, sidewalk or other public place within the city or in such a manner that the animal has access to any portion of a street, alley, sidewalk or other public place.

Also, it is unlawful for anyone to keep a dog that pursues vehicles, attacks any person or destroys property, continually barks or howls, and repeatedly breaks from a leash or is at large.

Please be mindful of traffic and pedestrians with your pets.
