John J. Pranke died at his home in White Lake on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the age of 66.
He was born April 25, 1951 in Shawano County, daughter of the late John and Clara (Lechterman) Pranke.
He was employed as a butcher at Kropf’s in Bowler until moving to White Lake in 1991. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include a sister, Betty Pranke of Antigo; 2 brothers, Ervin (Elizabeth) Pranke of White Lake and Kenneth Pranke of Summit Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, June Pranke who died in infancy, Phyllis Cavert, and Violet Roberts; and 2 brothers, Bruce and Richard Pranke.
A funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Visitation will be 9-10:30 Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Elias Lutheran Church Cemetery in Tilleda.
