Hannah Zenkovich, the high school athlete of the week, is a senior on the varsity girls basketball team and has played varsity for the last four seasons. Hannah just scored a double double on Friday night against the Mosinee high school basketball team scoring 15 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Hannah is one of the team captains and has proven to be a true leader to all the players in the basketball program both on the court and in the locker room. Hannah brings energy, hard work, and excitement to every game and practice. She is also in the top of her class academically. Hannah’s coach is Dale Lenzner.
Riley Tews is the middle school athlete of the week. Riley plays on the 7th grade basketball team and his coach is Tim Krueger.
Riley has been the definition of a great teammate this year. He worked hard in practice when he could play, but even after he broke his foot he continues to come to practice and games to support and be a part of the team. Nice job Riley.
