Antigo School District offering summer school courses

Did you know that the equivalent of 1 month of learning is LOST during the Summer?

The first 6 months of the school year are used for teaching OLD material, so students can re-learn what they have forgotten over the summer.

Summer school registration is now open for all students.  Free breakfast and lunch is available for all students under the age of 18.  Summer school main session dates are June 11-June 21 with a two session option, please see specifics below.

Breakfast: 7:30-8:00

AM session: 8:00-11:00

Lunch/Recess: 11:00-12:00

PM session: 12:00-3:00

Session choices for the AM include: K-5 experience with Math and English skills in addition to, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) lessons, Spanish and crafts.

Session choices for the PM include: Digging into Nature, Down on the Farm, Fun in the Fab Lab, Discovering Antigo Pride, Lego Robotics and Welcome to the World of Spanish.

Outside of the main session we will offer: Youth Theater, Rocket and Space Camp, Antigo Adventure Camp, Summer P.E, Freshman Focus, Red Robin Strength and Fitness and 8th grade experience.  In addition, at the elementary level, we are offering Jump Start to the School Year at West Elementary, starting July 30th-August 16.
