ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Monday, April 30th
2:55 PM Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that his vehicle was just backed into by another vehicle in the parking lot of an area business on Hwy. 64.
Tuesday, May 1st
1:55 AM Officers assisted in a fire call at a residence on Superior Street. The fire was caused by a defective dryer in the basement. Clothes had been put in the dryer and the dryer failed to shut off. The dryer had been running for quite some time.
7:53 PM Officers stopped a vehicle at 5th Avenue and Lincoln Street. A female subject was arrested on drug charges and transported to Corrections.
Wednesday, May 2nd
12:43 PM Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a vehicle in the ditch at Rusch Road and Neva Road. The vehicle hit some rocks in the ditch. There were no injuries.
6:50 PM Officers were in a foot chase on 2nd Avenue. A male subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, 2 counts of felony bail jumping, resisting arrest/obstructing and possession of an illegally obtained prescription. He was transported to Corrections.
Thursday, May 3rd
2:11 PM Officers stopped a vehicle at Clermont Street and 5th Avenue. The male driver was arrested for possession of meth and 2 counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. A three year old child was in the vehicle at the time of the arrest.
2:49 PM Officers responded to a report of an injury accident at 10th Avenue and Superior Street. One vehicle struck a fire hydrant. Both drivers were injured.
8:05 PM Officers stopped a vehicle at 4th Avenue and Dorr Street. The male driver was given a written warning for a cracked windshield. A second male subject was arrested on 2 counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and possession of marijuana. A female subject was referred for obstructing and possession of marijuana.
Friday, May 4th
9:11 AM Officers were at a residence on Hwy. 64. A consent to search was given. A male subject was arrested for possession of meth and a probation hold.
2:49 PM Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that she had backed into a car in the parking lot of a business on Hwy. 64. A state report was filed.
9:47 PM Officers responded to a call from a female on Arctic Street saying something about children being taken. The female sounded intoxicated. A male subject was arrested for bail jumping. He was transported to Corrections.
10:45 PM Officers were at a residence on 5th Avenue on a warrant attempt. A subject was arrested on Marathon County Sheriff’s office warrant.
11:38 PM Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that a male subject was acting strangely in a white van in the parking lot of an area business on Hwy. 64. The caller stated that the male subject had his feet on the window with no shoes, his shirt was up, he was mumbling to himself and she believed that he may have been performing a sex act. The male subject was arrested on a probation hold, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, May 5th
10:05 AM Officers responded to a call from an area business on Century Avenue reporting that a male subject on a bicycle had snuck in one of the back doors, parked the bike by the pool and asked for a key to a particular room. When employees tried to get more information from the male subject, he took off out the back door. The subject was described as wearing a gray t-shirt and pants and had a large duffel bag on his back. Officers checked the area. The male subject was located at another business on Neva Road. At first the male denied being at the business on Century Avenue. When officers transported the subject to that business, he then said that he was there to use the bathroom. Officers warned the male subject not to return.
8:43 PM Officers stopped a vehicle behind an area business on Edison Street. A male subject was arrested on 2 Langlade County Sheriff’s office warrants, operating without a license, 3rd offense, possession of marijuana and felony bail jumping. He was also cited for failure to obey a traffic signal.
11:31 PM Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress behind an area business on 5th Avenue. When officers arrived, two male subjects were in each other’s faces. One male was shirtless and the other male’s shirt was ripped. The subjects gave conflicting stories of who started the fight and who did the hitting and pushing. Both males had small cuts and small amounts of blood on their hands. Officers found out that the fight started while playing beer pong. Both male subjects and a female subject were cited for disorderly conduct.
Sunday, May 6th
1:44 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at S. Superior Street and Freiburger Avenue. The male driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated. He was also cited for operating after revocation, failure to install an ignition interlock device and having no insurance.
1:49 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at 7th Avenue and Hudson Street. The vehicle did not immediately stop. The male driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 1st offense and was cited for operating without a license. The vehicle was towed.
12:36 PM A male subject came to the Safety Building to report that a female subject was on his porch on 10th Avenue that was either high or drunk and he needed her removed. The male told officers that female had been dropped at his residence and he did not want her there. She seemed under the influence of something, but was cooperative. The female was picked up by a male subject and was told not to return.
Monday, May 7th
1:55 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at Neva Road and Industrial Park Road. The male driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 3rd offense and operating after revocation. He was also cited for speed, open intoxicants and not wearing a seatbelt.
11:48 AM Officers responded to a call from an area business on S. Superior Street reporting that they found a baggie with possible drugs in it.
LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS
Wednesday, May 2nd
11:36 AM Officers were at a residence on Beattie Avenue. A male subject was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
1:32 PM Officers cited a male student from White Lake School for disorderly conduct.
Thursday, May 3rd
9:50 AM Officers responded to a report of a disorderly male student at White Lake School. Officers talked with the male student and warned him of the future consequences if similar behavior happened again.
5:34 PM Officers responded to a call from an area business on Hwy. 45 in Elcho reporting that a Fed Ex driver found a baggie of something, behind the faucet in the men’s bathroom. Officers picked it up. The baggie contained a very small amount of marijuana. The business had no idea who put it there or how long it had been there.
Friday, May 4th
12:16 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at Hwy. 45 and Industrial Park Road. The K9 officer was alerted. During a search of the vehicle, a hydrocodone pill and alcohol swab pads were located. A female passenger was arrested for possession of a Schedule II narcotic. She was transported to Corrections. The male driver was cited for operating with insurance and was given a written warning for speed.
4:02 AM Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Cty. Rd. N. The vehicle finally came to a stop at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. N. The male driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated. He was also given verbal warning for speed and open intoxicants in a moving vehicle. The subject was transported to Corrections. The vehicle was towed.
7:39 AM Officers responded to a call from a male with the Langlade Forestry Department reporting a suspicious vehicle by the lodge at Jack Lake. Officers referred a female subject for possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a Schedule II narcotic, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of prescription drugs without a prescription and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
7:17 PM Officers responded to a report of a possible intoxicated driver at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. G. Officers were told that the vehicle was varying speeds. Officers stopped the vehicle on Clermont Street. Officers determined that the male driver was not intoxicated. He was given a written warning for unreasonable and imprudent speed.
Saturday, May 5th
6:10 PM Officers responded to a call from the Shawano County Sheriff’s office reporting that an older black Chevy Malibu was northbound on Hwy. 45 going through Birnamwood fleeing from officers. The vehicle was running other vehicles off of the road. The vehicle was clocked doing 91 mph in a 55 zone. The vehicle then crashed, just north of the Shawano/Langlade County line on Hwy. 45. Two subjects were ejected and not breathing. The Shawano County Sheriff office was on the scene. The female driver was deceased. The male passenger was flown to a Wausau hospital with life threatening injuries. Neither subject had been wearing a seat belt.
9:33 PM Officers assisted with a medical call for a 42 year old female who was passed out at a location on Turtle Lake Road in Lily. The reporting person told officers that the female may have taken some marijuana that was in an edible form and she had been drinking. The subject was described as being weak, breathing, but not responding to them. The female was transported to Langlade Hospital.
Monday, May 7th
10:21 PM Officers responded to a call from a female on Old 26 Road reporting that there was just a man looking in their window. The female told officers that her husband ran after him and the male subject ran into the woods. The male subject was described as white, with shoulder length blonde hair and a beard. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
Tuesday, May 8th
1:26 PM Officers responded to a 911 call for an ambulance at an area business on Mill Road for a male subject in this 20s that had overdosed at lunch. The Antigo Fire Department transported the male subject to the hospital.
