Antigo Memorial Day Parade May 28th 8am Meet at the Hudson Street Bridge for a Service of Remembrance for the American service people who died at sea. This is a great way for kids who haven’t started school yet to meet & socialize with peers. Every week we’ll read 2 or 3 books together as well as doing some songs & movement. We also do a simple craft or coloring page that helps kids develop creativity & motor skills, & occasionally (attendance permitting) other activities such as parachute play. Motorcycle Training Course June 2nd & 3rd 8am-4:30pm Northcentral Technical College – Antigo Campus, 312 Forrest Ave., Antigo. The 16-hour Basic Motorcycle Rider course is designed for beginning riders and was developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). Instructors are certified by the MSF and Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). It is taught off-street, out of traffic, and motorcycles and helmets are provided. The course consists of 6 hours of classroom and 10 hours of on-cycle instruction. The Basic Rider Course covers preparing to ride, turning, shifting and braking, street strategies, special situations, increasing riding skills, maintenance and insurance. The cost of the class is $259.40. Note: You must complete the motorcycle safety foundation ecourse less than 30 days prior to starting your basic motorcycle riding class.
