Antigo Police & Langlade County Sheriff’s Reports for 11/26/18
ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Monday, November 12th
11:13 AM Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that an older model, dark colored Durango hit an electrical box and a pole by Antigo Community Church on Deleglise Street. The caller stated that the skinny male driver and a female passenger got out and moved the electrical box back and then drove off. The Street Department was advised about the pole and WPS fixed the light on the pole. The male driver was identified and cited for hit and run and having no insurance.
2:38 PM Officers responded to an anonymous tip of a male subject at a residence on Hickory Street with an outstanding warrant. The male subject was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant by officers as he was attempting to start a vehicle. A bottle of clean urine was found in the subject’s jacket by officers.
Tuesday, November 13th
12:37 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at Neva Road and Badger Avenue. The 24 year old male driver was arrested on a Maryland nationwide-extradition warrant. He was also cited for operating without a license. He was transported to Corrections.
1:06 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at 5th Avenue and Lincoln Street. The 25 year old male driver was arrested and transported to Corrections after being taken to Langlade Hospital. He was charged with having a prohibited alcohol content, 2nd offense and operating after revocation. He was also given a written warning for failure to obey a traffic sign.
4:37 PM Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that she was in a minor accident at the intersection of Hwy. 45 and Hwy. 64 in the southbound lane. She told officers that both vehicles had pulled off of the roadway.
9:03 PM Officers executed a search warrant at a residence on 4th Avenue. Forced entry was used. A 52 year old male subject was arrested for possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wednesday, November 14th
12:01 PM Officers responded to a call from an area business on Hwy. 64 reporting that they had a female shoplifter detained. The 24 year old female subject had picked up and replaced a sander and another part of a sander, before she purchased $73 worth of food items. She was given a warning for retail theft and the business had her sign a no trespass agreement. She was informed that if she returned, she would be arrested and charged with retail theft. She was also cited for operating after suspension.
Thursday, November 15th
11:53 AM Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that he struck a vehicle that backed out of a driveway in front of a residence on Virginia Street.
12:07 PM A male subject stopped at the Safety Building to report that someone had entered his home on 5th Avenue and stole $23,127.18 in cash. He told officers that this happened sometime around September 18th. There was no forced entry to the home. The subject provided officers with the names of some possible suspects. Officers were investigating.
2:11 PM Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that she was involved in a three car accident on Hwy. 64. The female driver of another vehicle was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign. Two vehicles were towed.
11:23 PM Officers stopped a vehicle at 7th Avenue and Superior Street. The 24 year old male driver was arrested on 3 Langlade County Sheriff’s Office warrants, 1 Oneida County Sheriff’s Office warrant and possession of narcotic drugs. He was also cited for operating after suspension.
Friday, November 16th
5:16 PM Officers executed a warrant attempt at a residence on Balsam Street. A 38 year old female subject was arrested on a Langlade County Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to pay a fine for operating without a license. She was transported to Corrections.
5:59 PM Officers executed a warrant attempt at a residence on Dorr Street. An 18 year old male subject was arrested on a Langlade County Sheriff’s Office warrant. He was transported to Corrections.
6:23 PM Officers executed a warrant attempt at a residence on Charlotte Street. A 27 year old male subject was arrested on a Langlade County Sheriff’s Office warrant for operating while suspended and a Sauk County Sheriff’s Office warrant.
Saturday, November 17th
3:19 PM Officers executed a warrant attempt at a residence on Clermont Street. A 48 year old male subject was arrested on a Langlade County Sheriff’s Office warrant.
11:41 PM Officers stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of Clermont Street. A 25 year old female subject was arrested on a Langlade County Sheriff’s Office warrant. She was transported to Corrections.
LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS
Wednesday, November 14th
8:59 PM Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that a vehicle went in the ditch near her home at Cty. Rd. H and Spring Road. She was unsure if there were any injuries. The male driver of the vehicle was able to get his vehicle pulled out.
Thursday, November 15th
5:46 AM Officers responded to a call from a male reporting a vehicle in the ditch at Cty. Rd. V and Hwy. 45. The vehicle was towed.
Friday, November 16th
7:39 AM Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that he was spending the night at his girlfriend’s residence, when a male subject (the female’s ex-boyfriend) was peeping in the bathroom window and trying to enter the room. The male subject was described as a Native American male wearing a black hoodie. He left on foot. Officers found the male subject hiding in some tall grass. The 20 year old male subject was arrested on 2 Langlade County Sheriff’s Office warrants and a Department of Corrections warrant. He was also cited for obstructing and possession of meth.
Saturday, November 17th
11:47 AM Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that a blue car came over the hill westbound on Bass Lake Road by Forest Road and it was a bit over the center line, so he moved over on the road and was pulled into the ditch by the snow. He stated to officers that he hit a tree, but was not injured. The vehicle was towed.
4:37 PM Officers were out with a vehicle on Cty. Rd. A, north of Cty. Rd. S. A 29 year old male subject was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
10:45 PM Officers stopped a vehicle on Antigo Street in Elcho. The 20 year old driver was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant and was cited for speed. They were transported to Corrections.
Sunday, November 18th
7:57 PM Officers stopped a vehicle on E. 5th Avenue. The male driver was given a written warning for failure to maintain tail lights and given a verbal warning for a loud exhaust. A 28 year old female passenger was arrested for possession of prescription drugs, misdemeanor bail jumping and felony bail jumping. She was transported to Corrections.
Monday, November 19th
11:53 AM Officers responded to a 911 call from a male reporting that he struck a guard rail on Hwy. 64, west of Cty. Rd. S and was in the ditch. He told officers that he hit his head but denied needing EMS. The vehicle was towed. The Highway Department was advised of the damage to the guard rail.
1:57 PM Officers responded to a call from an area business reporting that one of their pickup trucks was on its side at an address on Norwood Drive, along with a trailer that was upright. There were no injuries. The vehicle was towed.
