ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Tuesday, January 22nd
5:03 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at 4th Avenue and Superior Street. A 29 year old male subject was taken into custody on a probation warrant, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor bail jumping and felony bail jumping.
Friday, January 25th
4:57 PM Officers responded to an anonymous complaint that an intoxicated Native American male subject, about 6’ 3” tall, wearing a green flannel shirt and missing many teeth came running up to the reporting person, intending to rob him, as he passed near an area business on 6th Avenue. The two had a short conversation in which the suspect told him not to call the police. At that time, a man in a pickup pulled up and got into an argument with the suspect, then allowed the reporting person into the truck and gave him a ride home.
5:42 PM Officers responded to a call from an area business on Edison Street requesting officers to assist in removing a male party who was being disruptive and trying to pick fights. The caller told officers that the male subject was only being verbal at that time. The male was described as wearing a black stocking hat, a camo sweatshirt and black pants. Officers gave the male subject a ride to his residence on 6th Avenue.
8:21 PM Officers responded to a call from a male at a residence on 6th Avenue reporting that a male subject was out of control and hurt the caller’s arm. The male subject was referred for battery, disorderly conduct and trespassing.
9:20 PM Officers stopped a vehicle in the parking lot of an area business on 5th Avenue. The 30 year old male driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated.
LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS
Saturday, January 26th
11:51 PM Officers responded to a call reporting a rollover accident at Hwy. 55 and Sawyer Lake Road. The caller was unsure if there was any road blockage. Multiple fire departments responded. There were no injuries. The vehicle was towed.
Sunday, January 27th
12:42 PM Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. C. A female witness reported to officers that the vehicle that had been traveling on Cty. Rd. C had gone through the stop sign.
10:56 PM Officers responded to a 911 call from a 31 year old male asking for officers to come and help him. He was outside a male subject’s residence on Riverside Road. He had been kicked out and was standing outside in the cold. Dispatch could not get the reporting male to focus, to answer many questions. He admitted to officers that he and other subjects at the residence had been drinking that night. He said that the other subjects were holding him hostage. Officers arrested the reporting male subject for disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to Corrections. A 21 year old female at the scene was referred for possession of drug paraphernalia. Two other male subjects that had been at the residence, left prior to the officers arrival.
Tuesday, January 29th
11:49 AM Officers responded to a call from an area business on Hwy. 45 reporting that a vehicle had pulled into the parking lot and slid into a power pole. The female driver of the vehicle then pulled into a parking spot and went into another business in the office complex. The caller stated to officers that there was damage to the vehicle and it was leaking fluids. The vehicle was towed.
