Cookies For Caregivers: At the Veterans Weekly Cup-of-Coffee meeting

Volunteers from Cookies for Caregivers baked and served close to 40 dozen freshly baked cookies at the Veterans Weekly Cup-of-Coffee group meeting at Denny’s in Rothschild on May 21, 2025. This is the fifth time that the group has baked and delivered cookies to the Veterans group during the weeks of Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Over 80 Veterans and the Denny’s staff enjoyed the cookies. The Vets also were able to take cookies home for their families to enjoy.

The Veterans were thanked for their service, sacrifices, courage and for putting their country first. “Words cannot describe the Veteran group adequately. They are always excited and appreciative for the cookies and the thanks they get. The bakers at Cookies for Caregivers thoroughly enjoy the delivery each time it is made”.
