Honoring Service: Military Officers Club of Northeast Wisconsin Visits Amron

Posted

On August 14, Amron, a Division of AMTEC Corp., had the privilege of welcoming a group of 10 Army veterans from the Military Officers Club of Northeast Wisconsin for a tour of the company’s manufacturing operations in Antigo.

The visit provided an opportunity for the veterans to see firsthand the work being done locally to manufacture medium-caliber cartridge cases for the US government, while also giving Amron employees the opportunity to welcome and recognize those who have dedicated a portion of their lives to serving our country.

Amron has been a proud part of the Antigo community since 1968 and has been a significant local employer for more than five decades. Over the years, generations of area residents have built their careers at the company, contributing to the skilled manufacturing workforce that continues to make Amron an important part of the Northwoods community.

During their visit, the veterans toured the facility and learned about the manufacturing processes, equipment and skilled workforce involved in producing the cartridge cases. The tour offered a unique opportunity to connect the veterans' military experience with the manufacturing work taking place right here in Antigo to support the nation's defense needs.

For Amron, however, the visit was about more than manufacturing.

It was an opportunity to say thank you.

The members of the Military Officers Club of Northeast Wisconsin have each contributed to our nation's history through their service in the United States Army. Their willingness to serve, lead and protect others represents a tradition of dedication and sacrifice that deserves recognition and gratitude.

Amron was honored to host these veterans and to share a look at the people and processes behind the products manufactured in our community.

Their visit was a reminder that the work being done in Antigo has a connection that extends well beyond the walls of the plant.

Amron would like to extend its sincere appreciation to the 10 members of the Military Officers Club of Northeast Wisconsin for their service to our country and for taking the time to visit our facility.

From all of us at Amron: Thank you for your service.
