Langlade County 4-H is proud to join communities across the nation in celebrating National Volunteer Appreciation Week by recognizing the remarkable individuals who dedicate their time, talents, and compassion to supporting local youth.
Volunteers are the backbone of the 4-H program. In Langlade County, more than 80 dedicated adult volunteers play a crucial role in delivering high-quality youth development opportunities. Through hands-on learning experiences in agriculture, leadership, STEM, the arts, and community service, these volunteers help create an environment where young people are encouraged to learn, grow, and lead.
Langlade County 4-H would not be possible without the commitment of its volunteers. They serve as mentors, educators, and role models—investing in the next generation and helping young people build skills that last a lifetime. While Volunteer Appreciation Week provides a special opportunity to highlight their contributions, the gratitude for their impact is felt year-round.
From leading club meetings and organizing educational events to chaperoning trips and teaching essential life skills, 4-H volunteers ensure that youth across Langlade County feel welcomed, supported, and inspired. Their dedication makes it possible for young people to explore their interests, gain confidence, and discover their potential.
Langlade County 4-H invites the entire community to join in thanking these extraordinary volunteers who make 4-H thrive. Whether through a handwritten note, a social media shout-out, or by becoming a volunteer yourself, every expression of appreciation helps honor the individuals who make a lasting difference in the lives of local youth.
