Volunteers are the backbone of 4-H, and in Langlade County, more than 60 dedicated adult volunteers support programs that empower young people through hands-on learning in agriculture, leadership, STEM, the arts, and community service. Their passion and mentorship help create a positive environment where youth can grow, explore, and lead.
Langlade County 4-H wouldn’t be what it is without our volunteers. They are mentors, educators, and role models who invest in the next generation of leaders. Volunteer Appreciation Week is a time to spotlight their efforts, but our gratitude lasts all year.
From leading club meetings and organizing educational events to chaperoning trips and sharing life skills, these volunteers play a vital role in making 4-H a welcoming and enriching experience for all. Their commitment ensures that young people in Langlade County have the opportunity to explore their interests and discover their potential.
Langlade County 4-H invites the community to recognize and thank the volunteers who help make 4-H possible. Whether it’s a simple thank-you card, a shout-out on social media, or getting involved yourself, every gesture of appreciation makes a difference.
